Auxanna explores falsehood and the quiet performance of presenting a desired self. It follows a bored young cleaner who, while working for her parents’ company, invites an old friend over only to pretend the home is hers — a fragile fiction that unravels as her friend reflects on their time together.

Shot in Paris without a script and shaped through improvisation, this youthful Gen Z film reflects the personas we adopt in social interactions, echoing both the curated and idealised selves we choose to display online and offline.
